Hello and welcome to my site! I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Alexis McCarvel! I'm a Graphic Design Student at the University of Minnesota. I enjoy being outdoors and am most happy when I'm being active. First, shredding the gnar (snowboarding) is a passion of mine. I am also learning to skateboard, it's tough, but I love the challenge. After all that activity, I paint with pizza sauce — that's right, I'm an amateur pizza artist! I'm pretty good at drawing and I find it extremely interesting how us creatives are able to make something out of nothing. I'm obsessed with jaw-dropping design and pushing my own creative work until it is neatly polished. My personal mission is to have innovative ideas to design smart, to always think about the bigger picture, but never forget about the smaller details, and to design not only for the client and consumers but also for myself, while maybe getting in a laugh or two... or three!
